MedAscend webinar

Webinar terms

About the event

“How to Get Into UK Medicine” is an educational webinar organised by MedAscend. Registration is currently free and covers the live sessions described on the webinar page. Dates, times, format and included resources are shown on that page.

Registration and communication

You must provide a working email address and agree to essential event messages so MedAscend can deliver confirmation, joining information and reminders. One place may be maintained per email address. You are responsible for checking your inbox and spam folder and for keeping joining links private.

Speaker status and university names

The website distinguishes between confirmed and planned speakers. Planned speakers may change or may not appear. Speakers participate in a personal capacity. References to Imperial College London, UCL, the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge or any other institution identify a speaker’s place of study or the host’s application experience; they do not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement by those universities.

Educational information, not an admissions guarantee

The webinar provides general educational guidance. Admissions policies, entry requirements and selection practices can change and differ by applicant. MedAscend does not guarantee an interview, offer, score, fee-status decision or other outcome. Attendees should check current official university and admissions-test information before acting.

Changes, interruption or cancellation

MedAscend may make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers, delivery platform or timing. If the event is materially changed or cancelled, registered attendees will be informed using the email address provided. MedAscend is not responsible for a participant’s internet connection, device compatibility, blocked email, time-zone misunderstanding or inability to attend.

Conduct

Attendees must behave respectfully and must not disrupt the webinar, share private joining details, impersonate another person, record or redistribute the session without permission, or misuse information about other attendees. MedAscend may remove anyone whose conduct risks the event or other participants.

Resources and intellectual property

Slides, worksheets, recordings, written resources and branding remain the property of MedAscend or the relevant speaker unless stated otherwise. They are provided for personal educational use and may not be resold, republished or distributed publicly without written permission.

Privacy

How registration and campaign information is handled is explained in the privacy notice.
